The baby product industry in Hong Kong is booming rapidly, all companies are leveraging technology to gain more customers. How can the leading retail giant, EugeneBaby be more customer-oriented in the digital era? Our client’s situation has led our Blue Lemon team to pitch in a full spectrum online solution to expand their business- online retail store + social media platforms, to transform their offline business to online.
We created a responsive web design for both desktop and mobile version for our client which is adaptable across all operating systems. The minimal design style stands out among its competitors, which in contrast, would use aggressive colours and busy layouts. The EugeneBaby website also includes a CRM System, Reward System, Payment Gateway and SEO set up.
Once the website was built, the most important thing was to inform parents about its arrival. We created an aggressive launching campaign which included print ads, online ads, outdoor banners and expo promotional booth. Our central campaign theme- with the Steve Jobs looking baby announcing the product launch, can be seen everywhere on magazines and online social media platforms in Hong Kong.
To wrap up the whole campaign, we created a promotional booth at the 2017 International Baby Expo, a chance to directly interact with potential customers at the biggest annual event in the baby industry. Our creative game idea “Pow Wow” (a ball throwing idea) attracted thousands of new members to join the website, and without placing any actual products, customers had the chance to experience our fully digital way of purchasing- scanning QR codes to buy products and to deliver directly at their doorsteps. EugeneBaby is now truly a digital platform.
